1. Who we are

CreatiCV is an online CV and cover letter builder operated by Merdan IT Solutions, registered in Kerkrade, Netherlands. We help you create and share professional application documents in a simple way.

2. Using CreatiCV

You must be old enough to apply for jobs yourself under the laws of your country. You are responsible for keeping your login details secure.

You may not misuse the Service, attempt to break security, overload our systems, send spam, publish illegal content, or copy or resell our templates, designs or software.

We may suspend or close your account if you seriously violate these Terms or misuse the Service.

3. Plans, subscriptions and payments

We offer free and paid plans. Prices, features, and applicable conditions are listed on the pricing page of CreatiCV.com.

• Payments are handled by third-party providers such as Stripe. Their terms also apply.
• Subscriptions renew automatically until cancelled and have a minimum subscription period, as shown on the pricing page. You may cancel your subscription at any time, but cancellation takes effect only after the minimum subscription period has ended.
• After cancellation, you retain access to paid features until the end of the applicable billing period. We do not refund periods that have already started unless legally required.
• If prices change, we will notify you clearly before changes take effect.

4. Your CVs and other content

• You keep all rights to your own CVs and any other content you create while using the Service.
• To operate the Service, you give us a licence to store, process and display your content inside your account, in share links you create, and in technical backups.
• You are responsible for ensuring that your content is accurate and lawful.
• When you delete a CV or your account, we remove the content from active systems as soon as reasonably possible, although backups may keep temporary copies for security and technical reasons.

5. Jobs, recruiter tools and external links

We do not guarantee job results or responses. Job and recruiter data may come from third parties.

External websites have their own terms and privacy rules. We are not responsible for their content.

6. Share links, invitations and rewards

Share links can be public or private depending on your settings. Be careful where you share them.

Invitation rewards are valid only under the rules displayed in your account. We may change reward programmes in the future.

Rewards may be removed in cases of abuse or fraud.

7. Privacy and cookies

Your use of CreatiCV also means you agree to our Privacy Policy and Cookie Policy.

8. Liability

We provide the Service with care but do not guarantee uninterrupted availability. We are not responsible for indirect or consequential loss as far as the law allows.

If we are legally responsible, our liability is limited to the amount you paid in the last 12 months, unless the law requires more.

9. Ending your account

You can delete your account at any time from your settings or by contacting us.

We may suspend or close accounts that violate these Terms or for legal reasons.

After account closure, public CVs and links are removed and some data may remain temporarily for legal or security reasons.

10. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms when our service or the law changes. If changes are important, we will notify you.

11. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Netherlands unless mandatory local law gives you stronger protection.
